Within the Fall, the athletic affiliation had a change of coronary heart and decided that Ally’s faculty was not an progressive school. After a brief battle with the assistance of a Deaf Rights Attorney and an Education Rights Legal professional, we obtained a letter stating that Ally was eligible to play underneath Rule 12-four, the Progressive School rule. This was nice as a result of it allowed all students in Ally’s public virtual constitution faculty to be recognized as Modern school students to play sports. The caveat lay though within the rule itself that said that the faculties might say no and most if not all do say no.
