Idealism is the metaphysical and epistemological doctrine that concepts or thoughts make up fundamental actuality. Primarily it’s any philosophy which argues that the only thing actually knowable is consciousness whereas we never can make sure that matter or something in the outside world really exists thus the one the true issues are mental entities not physical issues which exist only within the sense that they are perceived. A broad definition of idealism could include many non secular viewpoints though an idealistic viewpoint needn’t necessarily embrace God, supernatural beings or existences after demise.
